COMMISSIONER FOR THE FOLLANSBEE DISTRICT
ORDER
WHEREAS, the County Commission of Brooke County, WV, hereby FINDS that on or about March 1, 2026, Commissioner Andrew J. Thomas resigned from his position as Commissioner on the Brooke County Commission for the Follansbee District;
WHEREAS, the County Commission of Brooke County, WV, hereby PROCLAIMS that that a vacancy on the Brooke County Commission for Brooke County, West Virginia, in the Follansbee District has been created for the purpose of the November 3, 2026, general election;
WHEREBY, the County Commission of Brooke County, WV, hereby notifies any and all interested parties and/or persons that said vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term by election in the November 3, 2026 General Election;
WHEREBY, the County Commission of Brooke County, WV, hereby notifies any and all interested parties and/or persons to take any action deemed necessary to protect his or her interests in accordance with the West Virginia Code.
