Kenneth Lee Taylor

KENNETH LEE TAYLOR, 88, of Avella, PA passed away June 25, 2026, in Pittsburgh, PA. Kenneth was born to the late Leroy and Mary Isinghood Taylor on January 9, 1938, in Wellsburg, WV. He worked for Weirton Steel for 44 years on the galvanize line. He enjoyed working for hours on his 70-acre property, splitting wood, and mowing the fields on his tractor. As faith had it, he was followed in death by his loving wife. Ann Marie Sacripanti Taylor, 90, of Avella, PA, passed away June 26, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pa. Ann was born to the late Nick and Rose Ardenta Sacripanti on April 14, 1936, in Wheeling, WV. Ann was a homemaker for over 65 years and enjoyed cooking, planting flowers and raking leaves on the farm. They enjoyed watching all sports together with their family, especially ice hockey watching their favorite team the Pittsburgh Penguins. Their greatest joys in life were spending time with her seven grandchildren, especially watching them participate in their sporting events. They were both devoted members of St. Michael Catholic Church in Avella, PA. In addition to their parents, they were preceded in death by their son Galen Patrick Taylor who passed away in 1977. Ann was also preceded in death by her sisters Gloria and Dorothy Sacripanti, Norma Lauri, Betty Cipriani, Virginia Cross and Jenette Rocchio. Ann is survived by her sister Eleanor Sacripanti. They are both survived by their loving children, Gary Taylor and Terri of Woodbine, MD, Lorie Taylor Bovo and Gino of McDonald, PA, and MaryLynn Taylor Rohal of Clinton, PA; seven grandchildren: Amanda and Eric Krzys, Alex and Allison Taylor, Megan and Mitchell Gunning, Jessica and Sam Swiatek, Mara Bovo, Ryan Rohal and Olivia and Michael Kocher; and six great grandchildren: Lyla Ann Krzys, Carter Krzys, Cooper Krzys, Bowden Taylor, Jones Taylor, and Barrett Gunning. Visitation was held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. Funeral Liturgy with Mass of Christian burial was held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish St. Michael Parish, Avella, PA, with Father Alec Scheuer as Celebrant. Interment followed at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to either Avella Scholarship Foundation, P.O.
