BID ADVERTISEMENT
The City of Wellsburg is accepting bids to replace a rubber flat roof on the water plant.
Duties required:
*Remove existing roofing down to the concrete roof decking, which is approximately 3,400 square feet. Install one layer of EPDM and insulation.
*Provide and install a new adhered 1/8” tapered layout of polyisocyanurate roof insulation over the roof area to promote drainage. Minimum thickness of 1/2” – R30.
*Provide and install a new adhered. non-reinforced .060 black EPDM membrane roof system. This is approximately 3,400 square feet.
*Custom fabricate and install new custom fabricated 24g galvanized steel, Kynar 500 finish edge metal and fascia metal around the perimeter of the roof area. This is approximately 300 lineal feet.
*Install wood nailers at roof perimeter as needed.
*Provide and install EPDM membrane up walls and roof penetrations with termination bar, sealant, and slip/counter flashing as needed. This is approximately 150 lineal feet.
*Provide and install new, pre-manufactured flashings at all roof penetrations. Roof top units, pitch pans, pipe penetrations, etc.
*Provide a manufacturer’s warranty.
*Replace and remove existing gutters and downspouts with new 6” K-style aluminum continuous gutter and corresponding 3×4” corrugated downspouts. This is approximately 110 lineal feet of gutters and 110 lineal feet of downspouts.
