Penny Jo Morris

PENNY JO MORRIS, 74, of Bethany, WV died peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Valley Hospice Care North in Steubenville, OH with her family by her side. Born April 16, 1952, in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Charles and Virginia “Ginny” (Milliken) Morgan. She graduated from Brooke High School in 1970. Penny worked over the years at Bethany College and West Liberty University in the bookstores on campus. She was a member of West Liberty Christian Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and doing things for other people as well as cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. Penny is survived by her loving husband, Joe Morris at home; two Children, Amanda (Alton) Temple of Cranberry Township, PA and Kurt Morris and fiancé, Cecilia of Charleston, WV; two siblings, Robin Morgan and companion, Don and Bruce Morgan, both of Follansbee, WV; two grandchildren, Morgan and Carter Temple; and several nieces and nephews. A private visitation and funeral service were held with her Pastor, Dennis Arnold, officiating. Arrangements by Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Liberty Christian Church after school program.
