ADVERTISEMENT FOR WATER BOARD MEMBER
The City of Follansbee is accepting applications from interested residents to serve as a member of the Follansbee Water Board, 1st, 3rd, and 5th wards.
The Water Board is responsible for assisting in the oversight and governance of the City’s municipal water system and working to ensure the continued provision of safe, reliable, and efficient water service to the community.
Qualifications:
Must be a resident of the perspective ward in the City of Follansbee, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Must be willing and able to attend regularly scheduled Water Board meetings, usually scheduled on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
Applicants should have an interest in the operation and improvement of the City’s water system and the needs of the community.
Prior experience in water utilities, public service, finance, management, engineering, or related fields is helpful but not required.
Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest including their name, contact information, and a brief statement explaining their interest in serving on the Water Board.
