Ronald Allen Reed

RONALD ALLEN REED, 77 of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Carriage Inn of Cadiz, OH. Ron was born on March 2, 1945, in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Joseph E. Reed and Betty (Wright) Reed. Ron graduated from Follansbee High School, and he retired from Weirton Steel Corporation where he worked in the fuel department. Ron was Nazarene by faith. Ron had a passion for the outdoors, He was an avid hunter and loved to be on the farm on his tractor. Ron is survived by his girlfriend Susan Pucci of East Liverpool, OH; three sons, Ronald A. Reed II of Colliers, WV, Kenneth (Tally) Reed of Berkeley Springs, WV, David R. Reed of Fort Lauderdale, FL; one brother, Larry Reed of Colliers, WV, one sister, Karen (Gerald) Gehrling; six grandchildren, Sara, Ray, Logan, Kinsey Marie, Leah and Tori. Visitation for Ron was held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 and again on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m., with Pastor Larry Barkley officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. Interment will follow at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery.
