James “Jake” Franklin Folden

JAMES “JAKE” FRANKLIN FOLDEN, 62, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on May 4, 1960, in Weirton, WV a son of the late Nola (Casto) Folden and Earl Folden of Wintersville, OH. Jake worked at Timet in the Lathe Shop and was Protestant by faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding quads, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Jo (Price) Folden at home; two children: Patricia Folden at home, and Jacob Folden and fiancé Ashley at home; one granddaughter, Irridessa; two brothers: David Folden and Randy (Denise) Folden both of Follansbee, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 until the time of funeral services, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Elder Joy Leasure officiating. Full military honors were conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad and the Navy Honor Guard. Inurnment was held privately at the convenience of the family.
